Dashboard Usage Guide

Master all Dashboard features to analyze traffic, detect fraud and optimize campaigns

Dashboard is the control center: Where you monitor real-time traffic, detect click fraud, analyze user behavior and export reports. All data is organized by domain, campaign, and time period for easy management.

Stats Cards

Dashboard displays the 4 most important metrics at the top of the page so you can quickly understand the situation:

Meaning of Metrics

  • Total Clicks: Total tracked clicks. Helps assess campaign traffic volume
  • Blocked IPs: Number of IPs blocked for fraud. Higher number = more attacks → need to review campaign
  • Fraud Rate: % fraudulent clicks / total clicks. Fraud rate > 15% = serious campaign issues
  • Money Saved: Savings = blocked clicks × average CPC. This number reflects NS Ads Xperts ROI
How to Use Effectively:
  • Compare over time: Use Time Range filter to see fraud rate this week vs last week
  • Compare by domain: Switch domains to see which landing page has the most fraud
  • Monitor daily: Sudden increase in Fraud Rate = sign of competitor attack or bot campaign

Filters

Dashboard supports 8 types of filters to analyze in detail from multiple angles:

Basic Filters (Always Visible)

  • Search: Search by IP address, device ID, or specific click ID
  • Source: Filter by utm_source (Google Ads, Facebook, TikTok). Helps compare fraud rates across platforms
  • Domain: Select specific landing page. Useful when running multiple campaigns for different products

Advanced Filters (Click "Advanced Filters")

  • Risk Level: Safe (<70) / Suspicious (70-84) / Fraud (≥85). Focus on Fraud to see IPs that need blocking
  • Blocked Status: Only view blocked or unblocked clicks. Helps review IPs that need additional blocking
  • Time on Page: <3s / 3-10s / 10-30s / >30s. Clicks with time <3s are usually bot/accidental clicks
  • Fraud Score Range: Filter by danger level (0-100). For example: only view clicks with score 90-100
  • Interactions: Whether there are interactions or not. Clicks with no interactions = high suspicion
Real Use Case:

You want to find suspicious IPs that haven't been blocked: Risk Level = Fraud + Blocked = Not Blocked + Time on Page < 3s. Results will show list of IPs that need immediate blocking.

Data Table

The table displays each click with 9 important information columns. You can customize column display and sort data:

Data Columns

Column Purpose
ID Unique click ID - used for reference or lookup
Timestamp When the click occurred - helps detect bot attacks by hour
IP Address Click on IP to view detailed history - how many clicks, from which campaign
Source Advertising platform - compare fraud rates between Google vs Facebook
Domain Landing page that received click - identify which page has the most fraud
Status Blocked 🚫 or Safe ✅ - know which IPs need additional blocking
Device Desktop/Mobile/Tablet - detect bots running on specific device types
Engagement Time on page, scroll depth, interactions - assess traffic quality
Actions Manually block IP or view conversion details

Customize Column Display

Click the "Columns" button in the top right corner to show/hide columns. For example: if you don't need to see Device, hide that column to make the table cleaner.

Tip: Column customization is saved to session, no need to set up again each time you enter Dashboard.

Mass Actions

Instead of blocking IPs one by one, you can select multiple IPs at once and block/unblock in bulk:

How to Use Mass Actions

  1. Click the "Mass Action" button → checkbox column appears on the left of the table
  2. Check the IPs you want to process (or click header checkbox to select all)
  3. Click "Block Selected" to block multiple IPs at once
  4. System will ask for confirmation and allow entering notes (optional)
Important Note:
  • Only select truly fraudulent IPs (score ≥ 85) to avoid false positives
  • Mass block cannot be undone - consider carefully before executing
  • If blocked by mistake, go to Blocked IPs page to unblock

Time Range Picker

Time Range in the top right corner (in Domain Switcher) allows viewing data by 6 time periods:

Time Range When to Use
Today Monitor today's traffic - detect fraud attacks immediately
Yesterday Review yesterday's traffic - check if fraud rate is abnormal
Last 7 Days Analyze fraud trends during the week - find bot attack patterns
Last 30 Days Overall campaign assessment - calculate ROI and money saved
This Month Track current month performance
Custom Range Compare 2 specific time periods (e.g., Black Friday vs after Black Friday)
Best Practice:

Check Today every morning to see if there's a fraud spike. Review Last 7 Days at end of week to find IPs that need blocking. Use This Month at end of month to calculate money saved and report to management.

Export CSV - Export Reports

Export all Dashboard data to CSV file for deep analysis or backup:

CSV File Includes

  • All columns: Click ID, Timestamp, IP, Source, Domain, Fraud Score, Risk Level, Device, Behavior, Block Reason
  • Filtered data: Only exports currently displayed data (with filters applied)
  • Full history: Includes deleted clicks within 30 days (if any)

Real Use Cases

  • Client reporting: Export Last 30 Days, open Excel, create chart of fraud rate vs safe rate
  • Excel analysis: Pivot table by Source to see which platform has most fraud
  • Data backup: Export everything monthly to store history
  • Import to BI tools: Import CSV to Google Data Studio, Power BI to create custom dashboards

Frequently Asked Questions

Q: Does Dashboard auto-refresh?
A: No, Dashboard does not auto-refresh to avoid interrupting your data analysis. Click the Refresh button or F5 to update latest data.
Q: Which column to sort by to find fraud fastest?
A: Click on the "Fraud Score" header to sort from high to low. Second click reverses order. Combine with Risk Level = Fraud filter to only view dangerous clicks.
Q: How to know which IP is spamming clicks?
A: Click on IP Address in the table to open detailed popup. You will see that IP's click history: how many clicks, from which campaign, fraud score each time. If IP has 10+ clicks in 1 hour = clear spam.
Q: Is Column Visibility saved?
A: Yes, column customization is saved to session. As long as you haven't logged out or cleared browser, setting remains. Logout will reset to default.
Q: Why can't I see click conversions?
A: Click the "eye" icon in Actions column to view conversion details. If click has no conversion = user hasn't purchased/registered. Clicks with conversions will display: conversion value, timestamp, conversion type.
